Story Times and Programs
The goal of programming at the Park City Library is to provide
children of all ages with an enjoyable library experience based
on books, language and learning. No registration is required for
these programs. Children are accompanied during all programs by
a caregiver.
Storytime is a great way to introduce children to the library.
The following storytimes are ongoing except for a few breaks during
the year. Please call the library at 435-615-5600 and press 1 for
more details.
For infants birth to 2 years/ One adult must accompany each child.
In this special lapsit program, the baby and the caregiver benefit.
The babies are introduced to language by the way of nursery rhymes,
fingerplays, and music and the caregiver practices for use at home.
The children also enjoy a time of socialization at the end, where
they learn to share and enjoy books and more.
For children 2-3 years of age. Stories, songs, fingerplays, movement
and a craft are introduced to caregivers and toddlers.
Thursdays at 10:00 am
For children 3-5 years of age. Children listen to stories and participate
in songs, fingerplays and a craft.
Wednesdays at 11:00 am
For children 2-5 years of age. Children listen to stories and participate
in songs, fingerplays and a craft.
For all ages. Stories, songs, fingerplays and a craft for the whole
family to enjoy. Please check the calendar for dates and times.
The Library offers special performances for different age groups
throughout the year. For example, magicians, puppeteers, storytellers,
musicians and authors often perform. In addition check the calendar
for book clubs, movie nights and poetry meetings.
