Teens at
the Park City Library
WHAT WILL I BE DOING AS A T.A.G. MEMBER?
Meeting at least once a month as a group to eat PIZZA and brainstorm.
Examples of teen activities:
During the summer months, assist librarians during busy times by
handing out and explaining summer reading program materials to children
and teens.
Alphabetize children’s and young adult books by author and
shelve them.
Straighten up books on shelves and straighten up furnishings in
children’s room and teen room.
Help suggest and plan teen programs.
Help with children’s and teen programs:
- Help set up room before programs
- Help clean up room after program
- Take attendance by counting attendees
- Gather and arrange books for children’s and young adult
book displays.
- Prepare craft materials and bulletin boards.
WHAT WILL I GET OUT OF IT? FUN!
An opportunity to learn and practice a variety of job-related skills.
Satisfaction from knowing that you are helping promote reading and
literacy in your community.

and job applications.
