Library Foundation

The purpose of the Park City Library Foundation is to solicit and raise funds, the proceeds from which will be transferred to the Park City Library for general improvement of collection, facilities, equipment and programs to benefit Library patrons.

Why do we need a foundation for the Library? The city government is very supportive in its budget allocation for the Library but, as with every municipal enterprise, there are limits. The Library needs the flexibility to fund immediate opportunities as they occur as well as long-term resources to plan ahead. Donations to the Library Foundation can bridge that gap. The very success of library programs helping children and adults inspires a steady increase in requests for service.

When is a good time to donate to the foundation? The foundation welcomes donations today, of course. And we also encourage you to consider us in your will or as a beneficiary in trust. Your banker, attorney or financial advisor can help you arrange for the Park City Library Foundation to receive distributions at any time that you choose.

The Park City Library is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization.
